A new South Korean VR-headset hits the market
This Gear VR looking, affordable Virtual Reality headset for your iPhone created by a South Korean company called NextCore Corporation and aside from the usual iOS and Android Games and Apps you will also be able to access the Koom VR content distribution service, where you can download other content or upload your own.
Koom VR is a VR video content distribution service with over 1,000 individual pieces of VR content already available, and it offers the ability for users to share their own videos, too. A code to unlock the software comes with the purchase of a Noon VR headset.
NextCore claims that the Noon VR app offers the most responsive interface control on the market. Head movements, finger tap gestures and even eye gaze tracking are used to navigate within the app.
This Virtual Reality headset for smartphones is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones with screens between 4.7 and 5.5 inches.
It comes with a 3-way head strap to securely attach the device to your head and a protective cover to protect your phone and finish the design.
It's 230g weight is pretty light weighted compared to some other competitors on the market like Homido VR and VRizzmo. Although the, relatively expensive Russian headset Fibrum Pro, with 120g weight beats them all!
